The birds and the bees

And the deer and the turtles and, of course. the rabbits are all at it.  There are mini-versions of every conceivable animal around here.  The mummy turtles have ventured out of the lake to lay their eggs.  I met this mom-to-be the other morning.  I think she was a bit shy, she definitely needs to come out of her shell a bit.
I've had to modify the route of my morning walk due to a rather aggressive bird.  I have no idea what sort it is but it's about the size of a black bird with a very loud screech.  He dive bombs me every time I walk down the street.  The other evening he damn near landed on my back.  It's not like I'm going to climb the tree and eat his kids is it?

Thankfully the ducks and the geese are more laid back.  The big lake resembles an avian nursery right now.  There must be at least 15 families floating around.
